**water pollution is a spreading problem**

Nature's Priceless Gift

From nature's treasure, comes the priceless jewel,

How can we explain that water is life’s invaluable gem?

Once, those streams flowed with water like pearls,

Now, they’re tainted with toxins, turning precious pearls into poison.

You keep dumping waste into rivers,

And pollution is engulfing our water sources.

Don’t pollute so much that our environment is endangered.

Don’t dump so much waste that the pearl-like water becomes lethal.

Marine life is disappearing due to this pollution,

Their existence is at risk, drowning in spreading toxins.

Why aren't we imposing bans

On those who are offering waste to the seas?

Water is a priceless gem,

We can never repay its debt.

Water defines us all,

Don’t waste it, don’t cause its downfall.

summary

The poem highlights the invaluable nature of water, referring to it as a priceless gem given to us by nature. The poet laments how, in the past, water from streams and rivers was as pure and precious as pearls, but now, due to pollution, it has become toxic. The careless dumping of waste into rivers and oceans has not only polluted these water bodies but also endangered marine life.

The poet warns that if this pollution continues unchecked, it will pose a serious threat to our environment. The poem questions why there hasn’t been stricter regulation on those who contribute to this pollution, particularly by dumping waste into the oceans. The poet urges us to recognize that water is a precious resource, essential for life, and that we must take responsibility for protecting it.

The message is clear: we must stop polluting our water sources, conserve them, and protect marine life from extinction. The poet emphasizes that water is a vital part of our identity and survival, and if we continue to harm it, we risk losing something irreplaceable. The poem ends with a call to action, asking everyone to come together to preserve this precious natural resource for future generations.

 pollution a problem

Have You Ever Thought?
Have you ever wondered
How our ancestors lived?
Everywhere there was happiness,
And love spread far and wide.
No pollution lurking around,
No children falling ill.

Have you ever imagined?
What the future holds for mankind?
Pollution covering every place,
Our environment wasn’t meant for this.
Did we ever dream of such a world,
Where filth would dominate every space?

Did you ever think?
What would happen if trees were cut down?
Diseases spreading with pollution,
Children growing sick all around.

This is the result
Of those very mistakes.
Had we thought before cutting trees,
These illnesses wouldn’t spread,
And children wouldn’t suffer.

Let’s come together now,
To drive away these diseases,
Make our country clean,
And free the world from pollution.

Summary๐Ÿ“œ

In this poem, the poet delves into the contrast between the serene, unpolluted life of the past and the increasingly polluted, disease-stricken present. The poet reflects on how, in earlier times, life was filled with happiness and love, with no pollution or widespread illnesses affecting children. However, the modern era, marked by deforestation and pollution, has led to an environment where diseases are rampant, especially among the younger generation.

The poet imagines a future where pollution dominates every aspect of life, causing significant harm to both the environment and human health. This stark reality prompts a reflection on the consequences of human actions, particularly the indiscriminate cutting of trees. The poem suggests that if people had thought carefully before engaging in such destructive activities, the current situation might have been avoided.

The poet emphasizes that the present environmental degradation is a direct result of past mistakes. Had there been more foresight and consideration for the environment, many of the illnesses plaguing society today, particularly those affecting children, could have been prevented.

In the latter part of the poem, the poet calls for collective action to address these environmental issues. He urges everyone to come together to fight against the spread of diseases caused by pollution and to work towards making the country clean and pollution-free. The poem concludes with a hopeful message, encouraging people to take responsibility for their environment and to work towards a future where the earth is free from pollution and where all can live in a healthy and safe environment.
